Killing Bad Octopi

Me explaining the cover of "HGCO" while my daughter checks it out: 

Madison: "Daddy, is that an octopus behind that man?"

Me: "Yes, sweetie."

Madison: "Is he bad octopus?"

Me: "Absolutely, dear. Very bad."

Madison: "Is the man going to try and kill the octopus?"

Me: "Yes he is. That's what he does. Kill bad octopi." 

Madison: "With a sword?" 

Me: "With guns, sweetie. Lots of guns."  

Madison: "YESS! Guns!"

So much for a kinder, gentler generation...
